We are currently facing unprecedented challenges as the COVID-19 pandemic resurges in cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Shanghai, impacting the operations of numerous watch factories. Despite these difficulties, many factories continue to accept orders, albeit at a slower pace than usual, leading to delays in watch production and shipping. Presently, delivery times extend beyond 15 days, and we fervently hope for a swift resolution to this ongoing health crisis.
In recent weeks, amidst these adversities, several factories have introduced new models, showcasing innovation despite the prevailing circumstances. Notably, the RS factory unveiled a striking new addition: the blue AP Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph watch, featuring a colored ceramic case—a first in the realm of AP replica watches. While RS is not a newcomer to 1:1 super replica watches, their earlier rendition, the Royal Oak 15400, although satisfactory, did not attain the popularity of counterparts from JF or ZF. Consequently, RS faded from memory. However, their latest offering, the ceramic AP ROO Chrono watch, has reignited interest.
Previously, only the J12 factory produced the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph with subdials positioned at 12 o’clock. Renowned for their exceptional quality, J12 sets a high standard in this domain. However, RS has now entered this market segment, presenting a commendable alternative. The 44mm case of the blue AP boasts a thickness of 16mm and is entirely crafted from ceramic material, featuring a black ceramic case and a blue ceramic bezel. While the case finish may not rival that of JF’s AP, RS’s craftsmanship is commendable, offering a satisfying aesthetic.
Functionally, this AP replica watches excels, mirroring all the correct features of the genuine timepiece, including hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and chronograph functions. The blue checkered dial hosts three distinct subdials, each serving a unique purpose. The subdial at 12 o’clock, distinguished by its background, indicates small seconds, while those at 9 o’clock and 6 o’clock function as a 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counter, respectively. Activation of the chronograph is initiated by depressing the blue button at 2 o’clock, prompting the central big second-chronograph hand to commence operation.
Upon inspection of the crystal back, the movement reveals exquisite craftsmanship, closely resembling the genuine AP 3126 Calibre. Similar to J12, RS’s Clone 3126 is a modification of the 7750 movement. Looking ahead, one can only anticipate further advancements in this domain, with the possibility of J12 developing a super clone 3126 movement akin to Noob’s super clone 4130 in the Daytona. Such innovations could potentially lead to an increase in price, reflecting the advancements in quality. In addition to the blue variant, RS also introduced green and rose gold iterations simultaneously, expanding their repertoire.
